General purpose of position:
The role will entail advising TPI’s global clients on their sourcing strategy. It also involves liaising with third parties including IT/BPO service providers, law firms and other professional service firms.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the delivery of TPI Methodology and tools and participate as part of an advisory team in support of client strategy development and internal optimization initiatives.
- Provide consultation services to clients in areas of strategy development, internal optimization, ERP initiatives or outsourcing services.
- Gain an understanding of client’s current situation and environment by gathering needed information and using appropriate frameworks and models in the development of assessment material for decision-making purposes.
- Facilitate effective interaction between clients and TPI colleagues.
Skills and abilities:
The incumbent must have a broad knowledge and understanding of various operational areas in the IT/BPO services business and a good understanding of the global landscape that this business operates within. Work experience in software, IT or BPO industry at a senior level with the ability to work directly on sourcing transactions, vendor selection, bid management, etc. will be preferable.

Education and / or Training:
- Technical skills
- Broad knowledge of the Sourcing Advisory business.

- Demonstrated ability to contribute to IT Change Control Process.
- Experience in the business/management consulting domain.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Professional experience within an IT services provider environment.
- Professional experience as a buyer of services on a global basis.

Experience:
The successful applicant will be required to have at least 7 and 10 years of experience for Advisor and Senior Advisor positions respectively, in various industry roles and the ability to successfully transition to a consultative/advisory role.
Location:
Based in Bangalore, India but will be required to travel extensively within India and abroad.
