As Partner and President of TPI Global Resources Management, Mr. Mayo is responsible for the development, resourcing and effective utilization of TPI’s advisory resources on a global basis. Mark also oversees TPI’s global delivery service delivery capability, including the India organization located in Bangalore. He also has responsibility for TPI’s Human Resources, Leadership and Professional Development, Knowledge Management and Sourcing Industry Relations functions.
Mark is a member of TPI’s Executive Board and offers TPI’s commercial and governmental clients considerable operational, management and consulting expertise. Working across a variety of industries, he has directed national and global sourcing assessments and strategy development projects. He also has led several business process outsourcing (BPO) engagements in human resources, finance and accounting, and claims processing, as well as numerous information technology outsourcing (ITO) engagements for infrastructure and applications sourcing. Mark has extensive experience in contract assessments and renegotiations.
Prior to joining TPI, Mark had an extensive career with EDS, holding a number of positions in that organization’s State and Local Government Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and launching a State and Local Government consulting organization. Mark began his SBU work as a Systems Engineer and then progressed through Account Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Marketing Director and President, ultimately leading an organization of 5,000 employees that served more than 50 state and local government clients. Mark also sponsored a number of initiatives focused on the strategic use of technology in restructuring state government processes.
