Melany applies a broad base of information technology (IT) experience and expertise in all areas of IT outsourcing (ITO) and professional services to her role as Partner and Managing Director of the TPI Innovation Center. Melany has IT and professional services experience in business development; customer relationship management and help desks; IT services market analysis and IT outsourcing bid management; strategy development, and service provider management. She also has extensive international experience and has used her multilingual skills while living and working in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Prior to joining TPI, Melany worked as a Senior Manager at Accenture, where she led assessments and focused on applications implementations for telecommunications clients in Europe, Latin America and North America. During more than 11 years at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Melany held various business development and leadership roles in Caracas, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt and in the United States. She also served as the account manager for The Los Angeles Times and conducted market and industry research as an international market analyst. Prior to EDS, she worked for Western Union ATS (MCI Metro), where she initially served as the company’s Marketing Director and later as National Account Manager for large carrier sales. Melany has also worked for the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Justice.
