Until April 2008, Mr. Barna was the Chief Financial Officer for ACNielsen in Europe, the world leader in marketing information services. In that role, he was responsible for the day to day financial operations for the entire region and also helped drive a number of key operations-focused initiatives geared toward profit acceleration and business building. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of the Asia Pacific region and was based in Hong Kong. During his career, he has held a number of global and regional financial positions with VNU, ACNielsen and the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation based in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Michael Barna holds a BS degree in Accounting from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Michael is a qualified Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
