Paul Schmidt

Mr. Schmidt, Partner and Managing Director of Global Service Delivery, brings an extensive background in business process outsourcing (BPO), business strategy development, information technology outsourcing (ITO), and IT advisory services and technology to TPI’s clients. Paul’s in-depth knowledge includes software development, start-up technology, offshore advisory and considerable expertise in cash flow management, merger and acquisition activities, profitability, and revenue growth.

Before joining TPI, Paul founded Offshore Development Group, Inc., a management consulting company, and served as its chief executive officer. He assisted clients with leveraging global resources in strategic and emerging markets and developed markets through acquisition and partnerships for offshore IT, BPO services and strategic business development strategies.

Earlier in his career, Paul served as Chief Executive Officer of Exante Health, Inc., a company he founded to provide e-commerce and customer relationship management (CRM) software to the insurance market. In addition to responsibility for the business aspects of the firm, he also developed and deployed an initial outsourced, Internet-based CRM health care insurance product and then secured a joint venture to establish the resulting captive offshore software development organization. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of AEQ, LLC, a software venture providing Internet integration products and services, and as President of Health Network Ventures (HNV), a joint venture between Ameritech and Aurora Health Care.

Prior to HNV, Paul worked as Executive Director at SSDS, a management and technology consulting firm, where he directed the development and deployment of an integrated supply chain management network for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He also served as Manager for Strategic Planning with Tenneco and developed a customer-based segmentation methodology that increased market penetration and cross-selling results.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wright State University.
