Mr. Barry is Associate Partner & Managing Director, Consumer Products and Manufacturing Services. He brings expertise in information technology and business consulting to TPI’s clients. Tim has experience leading outsourcing transaction pursuits, communicating knowledge processes to industry leaders, and improving business performance by planning, building, managing and rationalizing application software through business consulting. His knowledge derives from practical experience in selling and delivering services in a variety of industries and environments.
Prior to joining TPI, Tim worked at Keane, Inc. as a Vice President of Application Outsourcing. In this role, he led Keane's largest outsourcing transaction pursuits, represented Keane to key industry influencers, including IT analyst firms, management consulting firms and sourcing consultants. During his tenure, Tim worked in several senior management roles, including Vice President of Application Outsourcing, Director of Project Management Services Group and Principal Consultant. As Vice President of Application Outsourcing, he founded Keane’s Outsourcing practice, led the delivery of application outsourcing services globally, and managed pricing, due diligence and contract negotiations. As a Director of the Project Management Service Group, Tim developed and managed Keane’s project management training and consulting group supporting North America and the United Kingdom, and developed seminar products, including Productivity Management, Project Estimating and Risk Management, Project Manager Development Program, and Project Planning and Control. As Principal Consultant, he managed large, complex application outsourcing contracts for AT&T, Elf Atochem and Carrier Corporation. In addition, Tim was responsible for project management, delivery, team building and project profitability, and he was recognized as an expert on Keane’s Application Management Methodology and project management disciplines. Also during his career, Tim worked as Vice President of Application Outsourcing for CIBER, as Business Development Manager for Softrax (formerly RBS Group), and as District Consulting Manager for Wang Laboratories.
Tim attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a certified Project Managment Professional and a member of the Project Management Institute.
