| TPI’s Sourcing Leadership Exchange (SLE)
Conference Breaks Attendance Record |
|
 |
| TPI held its 15th Sourcing Leadership Exchange
(SLE) conference for the Americas on May 7 - 9 in Irving, TX. This
invitation-only conference, designed to facilitate collaborative
learning, networking and sharing of best practices among sourcing
executives in a confidential forum, was attended by 116
representatives from 63 organizations from Canada, Mexico, the
United Kingdom and the United States. The SLE conference was the
largest in TPI’s history in terms of number of attendees.
Transforming and Optimizing Business Solutions Through
Sourcing was the theme of the spring 2007 conference. Peter
Allen, Partner and Managing Director, Market Development, TPI,
highlighted in the keynote address the increasing number of
alternatives available to corporate executives who are charting
their courses related to service improvement for business support
functions. Utilizing metrics derived from TPI’s monitoring programs
and client engagements, Peter reflected on the changing motives for
outsourcing and offshoring, the effects of shorter contact
durations, current offshoring sourcing models, service provider
market share, and other global outsourcing trends and implications.
Participants took advantage of six pre-conference workshops and
more than 30 individual breakout sessions held during the
conference. Conference sessions included:
Value Proposition of Multifunction Outsourcing
Introduction to Service Management & Governance
Key Learnings in Finance and Accounting Outsourcing
Meeting Expectations with HR Outsourcing
Change Management
Benchmarking and Gainsharing
The next Americas SLE conference will be hosted in Naples,
Florida, on November 5 - 7, 2007. For registration information,
please contact Stephanie
