Even in the midlife of a relationship, there can be the need to rethink and reset the structure, team and management approach to ensure that value and innovation are received. The common theme here is “people and process” — the right people with the right skills combined with the right organization and governance structure. Make sure that your people and process planning starts early, and think about it often during the sourcing life cycle. Complacency causes value leakage.
