TPI Executives to Address Best Practices for Establishing and Developing Successful Shared Services Operations
HOUSTON, September 17, 2007 – TPI, the leading sourcing advisory firm, is co-sponsoring the 11th Annual IQPC Shared Services Summit West at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas from Sept. 16 – 20. The summit will focus on the next generation, innovation and global value of shared services organizations (SSO).
TPI finds that the principles of enterprise shared services are essential for transforming business support functions. Executives from TPI will share their industry knowledge and expertise through workshops and keynote addresses focused on governance, innovation and evaluation of best-in- class SSO case studies.
To bolster the summit’s theme of next generation shared services, TPI partners Don Flores, Bill Frech and Pat Blake will facilitate conference workshops addressing strategic topics that include:
- Developing and Implementing Governance Models and Multifunctional SSOs: Providing guidance through the life cycle of transition, implementation and management for business functions organized via shared services.
- Driving Innovation – Internal and External Pathways: Addressing the differences between internal and external factors on conceiving and delivering innovation, and best practices for providing continual value creation through shared services.
- Placing Outsourcing into Context for Shared Services: Reviewing issues and approaches related to considering outsourcing alternatives within the framework of a shared services operating model.
“We are proud to be a part of the IQPC’s Summit, as it is one of the most comprehensive shared services events in the world,” said Pat Blake, Partner, TPI, and IQPC advisory board member. “SSOs play an integral role in our global economy.
