Industry Thought Leaders from TPI to Present Strategy & Best Practices for Shared Services Organizations at 12th Annual Shared Services Week
TPI’s Peter Allen to give conference’s opening keynote speech on the future state of shared services

(ISG) (NASDAQ:III), a leader in the information-based services industry, is co-sponsoring and presenting at the 12th annual Shared Services Week, the world’s largest Shared Services conference, being held at the Omni Orlando resort in ChampionsGate, Florida from March 30 – April 3. TPI executives will share their knowledge and expertise of the Shared Services industry during presentations focused on critical methodology, expansion opportunities and governance.
The conference will provide a venue for Fortune 500 Shared Services leaders to network, share best practices, discuss issues facing the industry, and address new challenges on the horizon in bringing their Shared Services Organizations (SSOs) to the next level. The theme of the conference, “elevating SSOs to a more strategic level” will be demonstrated throughout the following TPI presentations:
- Opening Keynote: The C Level Perspective – Why I Support Shared Services and What the Future Might Hold: Peter Allen, partner & managing director, will co-present with Filippo Passerini, CIO, Procter & Gamble and 2006 Shared Service Leader of the Year recipient, on the ways a leading global firm positions its SSO through resources, accountabilities, performance metrics and strategic alignment.
- Developing and Implementing Governance Models for SSOs: Shawn McCray, partner, will focus on how to develop a framework to effectively align SSOs with business goals, providing a step-by-step process for developing and implementing a strategic governance model.
- Getting Past the Basics Continuing to Add Value Beyond Cost Savings: Bill Frech, partner and managing director, CFO Services North America, and Sue Danino, project director, will address the demand for improvement found today in many mature SSOs by exploring expansion opportunities and its benefits, as well as critical success factors based on best-in class case study examples.
In addition to presenting, Bill Frech will also moderate a panel session entitled Increasing Your Shared Service Offerings to Become a Strategic Partner. This session will focus on how to maximize value through aligning SSOs with business needs and determining the global versus regional service delivery footprint.
