TPI Partner Named “Thought Leader of the Year” at the Human Resources Outsourcing Association’s Awards™ Gala

  • Scott Gildner, partner and president, North America, TPI, was honored for his contributions to the Human Resource Outsourcing Industry

HOUSTON, April 28, 2008 – TPI, the largest sourcing data and advisory firm in the world and a unit of Information Services Group Inc. (ISG) (NASDAQ:III), a leader in the information-based services industry, announced today that Scott Gildner was selected as “Thought Leader of the Year” at the 2008 Human Resources Outsourcing Association’s (HROA) Awards™ Gala. This award honors Gildner’s successes in defining industry standards, establishing benchmarks and realigning relationships between clients and providers in the human resources outsourcing (HRO) market.

“The HROA and the industry as a whole owe Scott a debt of gratitude for the truly groundbreaking contributions he has made to the practice of HR transformation and outsourcing,” said Richard Crespin, global executive director of the HROA. “He has led this industry’s growth and maturation through his championing of the cause of standardization and transparency, and we are pleased to present him with an award that honors his strategic thinking and thought leadership.”

The HROA Awards™ Gala recognizes practitioners and companies in the human resources (HR) industry that have been instrumental in the advancement of HR transformation. Candidates for “Thought Leader of the Year” were judged by their approaches, innovations and programs as well as the impact those initiatives have had on the HRO industry. Specifically, Scott Gildner’s work in developing the HRO Industry Standards, the HROA’s first set of pricing methodology, measuring metrics and service level agreement guidelines; his design of the HROA Benchmark™, a program to provide buyers with benchmark data related to HRO relationships; and his strides in HRO remediations between clients and providers, earned him the distinction of the HROA’s 2008 “Thought Leader of the Year.”

The foundation for the HROA Benchmark™ was originally created by Gildner early in his career and was the first comprehensive repository of HRO benchmark data on outsourcing prices and contract terms. Throughout his tenure, Gildner has authored numerous articles and one book, Outsourcing Human Resources, published by the Society for Human Resource Management, and served as a charter member of the Human Resources Outsourcing Forum.

In addition to Gildner’s award, TPI nominated two winning clients, Dave Lutterbach of Hess for mid-market Buyer Executive of the Year and Liz Hill of Dell for the Benefits Relationship of the Year award with Hewitt.
