- Leading sourcing advisory firm expands capability to address growing demand for shared services, BPO
Frankfurt, 26 May, 2009 – TPI, the largest sourcing data and advisory firm in the world and a unit of Information Services Group Inc. (NASDAQ:III, IIIIU, IIIIW), a leader in the information-based services industry, today announced the appointment of Frank Wolfsteiner as Partner and Managing Director of the firm’s CHRO and CFO Services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The appointment will enable TPI to continue to expand its services for Finance and Human Resources (HR) departments across EMEA and strengthen its position within these key areas.
“From helping clients develop and define their service delivery strategy to delivering a fully operational project team geared towards successful results, TPI is able to offer a wide range of services,” Wolfsteiner said. “I am delighted to be part of TPI, especially seeing the great value and experience we can bring to our clients.”
Wolfsteiner is a highly respected and recognised authority specialising in HR, Finance and Accounting (F&A), and shared services. With more than 20 years experience advising multinational companies on implementation and business and service development, he brings deep experience and an impressive breadth of knowledge to the role.
Prior to TPI, Wolfsteiner was partner at Trestle Group, which specialises in supporting clients in outsourcing and offshoring. Other career steps have included leading European HR outsourcing delivery for Affiliated Computer Services in Barcelona and the building and operation of Deloitte’s India-based IT offshore centre in Hyderabad as part of the global outsourcing advisory and delivery team. His former employers also include Ernst & Young and Gillette.
Chief Financial Officers and HR directors are increasingly asking for help implementing more flexible and cost-effective business support services, especially within Continental Europe. In greatest demand are advisory services to help them assess the potential return on investment from shared services and business process outsourcing.
Said Duncan Aitchison, TPI Partner and Managing Director, EMEA: “Although companies are currently focusing on tactical initiatives that address the prevailing economic challenges, they are starting to look ahead to when conditions improve. We are expanding on our capabilities now so that we’ll be ready to help them.”
